I have no clue why we need to compare Michael to others to prove that Michael is "better" than everyone else. Who cares about sales? It's like comparing the box office of a hit film with Titanic and saying because it didn't reach that level it's worthless. Janet has been extraordinarily successful, commercially and artistically, in her own right - as an entity other than Michael's baby sister. Whether or not she had an album that sold as much as Thriller is completely irrelevant to this fact.

Its a shame how some fanatic Janet fans attacking me on this thread for voicing my opinion, I don't know why i was called by someone to "STFU", with all the comments I have posted I have never insulted her or any of her fans here, the insults are unnecessary and childish, I only said my opinion which is the truth, her "last name" and "Jimmy jam &Terry lewis" did play a role in her success.

In fact I have her Rhythm Nation album(lonely is my fav song from that album),all for you album , control album ,velvet rope album, design of decade album, I bought the single "doesn't really matter" was it came out, see....I'm not a hater, the problem is that I'm debating and talking with little kids who have no respect for others whatsoever , who have no knowledge whats going on, viciously defending her like they are on her payroll , Nothing in what I have said was serious and catastrophic , its a musical discussion, no need for personal attacks.
