Considering Discipline opened with 100k more than Ciara's new album (supposedly one of the hot chicks in the game, and a former IDJ labelmate), she's clearly got some gas left in her.
What she seems to be doing is financing and cutting an album and then shopping it around to labels. I guess is she doesn't want to go through another IDJ situation where LA Reid defines the album for her. Smart move. | |

A totally odd campaign for that song that was the antithesis of how you effectively create a hit and stimulate interest.
