After months of rumours, the 50 year-old singer is expected to make an appearance at the venue to announce details of a series of shows there. It is thought the tour could run for 30 dates from July, with an estimated pay cheque of one and a half million pounds a night to the singer. The last time the Thriller star performed in the UK was back in 2006, when he sang We Are The World during the World Music Awards ceremony at London's Earl’s Court. His last tour took place 12 years ago, spanning 58 cities and saw the pop legend take in 82 dates. In some ways...Prince has made this so easy for mike to do 30 nights ...the London music seen is up for it ...the only way Mike will not sell out 30 days in 30 hours would be to do with credit crunch or the price of the tickets are too high...Beyonce is sell around £55.00 pounds ...and to me that's alot ...Madonna is sell at £140.00 which is a rip off so if mike get's the balance right he'll sell out for sure... And I have not even considered his international fan based in Europe which is heavy and of course the US which is massive...oh its on the news ...the fans are out side his hotel in London...i'll get picture asap!!! Yeah but thats something that MJ has always been doing, 120 songs were recorded during the Invinicble sessions alone, Mj records hundreds of songs for each album so his vault exceeds 100 songs, maybe more than 400 songs, Im not sure about the single in apirl or the song with rihanna, it could be true. If he actually goes through with the agreed plan, Jackson will announce on Thursday a run of concerts for this July. The shows will likely be the very same deal I told you about first — 20 to 30 shows at the O2 Arena in London. AEG Live offered him $1 million per show, with a guarantee of $10 million for at least 10 shows. There are problems, though. Sources close to Jackson are worried that he's really not capable of doing the shows. "He's been working out, but you never know." And then there's the question of insurance. Jackson is famous for not showing up when he doesn't feel like it. The content of the shows, according to the original deal, would be his "Thriller" album from beginning to end, with a few extra hits thrown in from other parts of his career. Why is Jackson finally agreeing to this? Money, money, money. He owes Prince Abdulla of Bahrain $7 million. Jackson also took millions in yet another refinancing late last year with Thomas Barrack's Colony Capital of Los Angeles when they became partners in his Neverland Ranch. Since then the former King of Pop has been renting a $100,000 a month home in Beverly Hills that he can't afford.
