What? it's a music venue, that wants to encourage residency from the worlds biggest acts, other folk have played there after Prince, were you laughing at Zepellin and Stevie for having the gall to follow Prince playing there? Jacko Suing Over Creepo Auction Posted Mar 4th 2009 6:32PM by TMZ Staff Michael Jackson's production company is suing the company trying to auction off all of Jacko's weirdo personal property -- including the hands from Edward Scissorhands, rhinestone gloves and socks, a tacky robe and the gates from Neverland. In the lawsuit, filed today in L.A. County Superior Court, Jacko's camp claims Julien's Auction House is "not legally entitled to retain possession of Michael Jackson's personal property." The suit claims the auction house has repeatedly refused to return the stuff. The auction is scheduled to take place April 22 in Bev Hills. http://www.tmz.com/2009/0...o-auction/ Why would Michael's company sue the company that is auctioning his stuff? I was led to believe that Michael fully authorized this auction MJ L.O.V.E: https://www.facebook.com/...689&type=2 / YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/us...nderSilent

Jacko: First Show July 9
Circle July 9th as the day Michael Jackson takes the stage at the O2 Arena and tried to moonwalk back into our hearts. Here are some of the details that will be revealed at tomorrow’s press conference in London for the Michael Jackson comeback concerts. The press conference, by the way, will begin at 4 p.m. in London and 11 a.m. in New York. It’s open to the public, which should be interesting: the promoters will be able to gauge interest in the shows by how many people show up tomorrow. Jackson will appear at the press conference and actually make a statement, I am told. The whole spectacle is supposed to be webcast on www.michaeljackson.com and www.michaeljacksonlive.com. Jackson’s first shows will be on July 9th and 10th at the O2 Arena. R&B superstar NeYo has already booked July 11th, so Jackson will skip that date. But after that, the rest of July is free on the O2 calendar. The first round of Jackson shows calls for 10—as this column has reported exclusively several times. The next eight shows will be scattered through the month. Sources inside AEG Live assure me that the tickets will be priced within reach. Of course, there will be VIP packages, and all sorts of things that could make individual tickets cost as much as $1,000. But those deals would include private sessions with Bubbles the Chimp, that sort of thing. So because Michael isnt bringing out an album every year, he's been counted out? Michael doesnt need to keep releasing albums to stay relevant in the industry like other artists. Him having the BIGGEST SELLING ALBUM OF ALL TIME is enough to keep his name in peoples mouths.

When I was little, I would always get kinda scared when thinking of being in the audience at a MJ concert. They always looked so dangerous. But now, I'd love to be at the O2 for this in July. ....
*Pondering*.....I'd just have to deal with the standing swarm of thousands of super-hyper fans, LOL. "You put water into a cup, it becomes the cup...Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend." - Bruce Lee

"Will you perform "Billie Jean" as an acoustic performance?" "Do you still have a crush on Diana Ross?" HHow about are you married to your nanny. Good question: is he?

The Ultimate Michael Jackson Setlist - What Would Yours Be? For his summer shows... * by Jason Gregory * Wednesday, March 04, 2009 * Photo by: WENN.com Unless he has a dramatic change of heart – or, recent reports have been widely inaccurate – Michael Jackson will announce a series of concerts at the O2 Arena in London tomorrow (March 5th). The shows, which look set to emulate Prince's 2007 residency at the same venue (not to mention bag the King of Pop a nice pay day), will, undoubtedly, be some of the most anticipated of all time. Apart from two rather contrived live performances, Jackson has not performed a full live concert tour since his 1996/7 HIStory tour. To put that jaunt into perspective, HIStory saw Jackson play in 82 countries to approximately 4.5million fans. And at a time when ticket prices were lower, the tour still grossed Jackson an impressive $163.5million – a figure which, if reports are to be believed, will only be surpassed by his summer O2 residency. Suffice to say, the Gigwise office is rather excited about this. Putting aside the singer's legal troubles and various physical transformations, Jackson is still the artist who gave us the biggest – and, in my opinion, one of the greatest – albums of all time in 'Thriller; he's still the greatest male solo performer of all time – some who made the live show an unforgettable experience, rather than a chore; and, at the end of the day, he's still Michael Jackson. So the big question remains, what will the Michael Jackson of 2009 perform? We want you to post what songs you would like to see Michael Jackson play at the O2 Arena. Indeed, what would your ultimate Michael Jackson setlist be? Put your suggestion below. Here's ours...(we'd like him to be on for a long time): Setlist 'Jam' 'Beat It' 'Scream' 'The Way You Make Me Feel' 'Human Nature' 'They Don't Care About Us' 'Who Is It' 'Earth Song' 'Thriller' 'Billie Jean' 'Rock With You' 'Black Or White' 'You Rock My World' 'Wanna Be Startin' Something' 'Man In The Mirror' 'You Are Not Alone' 'Heal The World' 'The Girl Is Mine' (With guest appearance from Sir Paul McCartney) 'Don't Stop Till You Get Enough' *Jackson 5 Reprise* 'ABC' 'I Want You Back' 'Blame It On The Boogie' *Encore* 'Dirty Diana' 'Smooth Criminal' 'Bad' "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

i think the first part of the show he should just sing songs to show off his voice, then maybe towards the end he could do billie jean and then do some more upbeat things, since his is older now

Michael's touring? Want info on it? Go to the MJ thread. Seems simple enough especially if you're not going to an actual MJ site. Change is good.
