Early 80's Madonna was a fox. Something about her was so cool. And I don't know why, but I can see how she looks more Italian. There's something about their features that stand out and I notice it on her. Particularly, her nose. It has that arc to it. Imagine a picture of Janet/Tina/whoever doing something similar/grueling/exhausting and all WITHOUT make up/wigs/extensions etc... 
It just doesn't help does it- comparing people on and off the red carpet/photo shoots- wonder if anyone would start a male version of this thread. Another 'ugly' thread that I find myself being pulled into, but I suppose that's the point of these- nothing to do with music, but to p*** off the opposing fans( I actually love Janet etc, but see how easy it is to get involved in name calling!) [Edited 10/23/08 23:32pm] Of course Janet looks bad in those photos, that was before she lost the weight. Those are almost 2 years old now. I think those pics of Madonna were taken earlier this year. Most female celebrities don't look good without make-up, so I'm not picking on Madonna for not wearing make-up, but she is really skinny in those above pics. I can see all her veins in her arms...in fact I can see the blood flowing through those mofos. 
I loved her back in the 80s and early 90s....especially in "Who's That Girl?" (love that movie soooo much!!!!  ). Compared to her plumper days, she looks terrible now to me. I want her to put some more meat back on her bones.Prince Rogers Nelson
