Improvised from several live shows too. nod

That shows the talent of Ray Charles. The guy took a little ditty and made it revolutionary. cool

The radio version of this, while still sexual in nature, did appeal to everybody when it finally did get released. I credit this song with starting "soul music".

Pt.2 after the intermission is just WILD love

If "Making love" could be written in music sheets, then Ray & the Raylettes sure mastered that music

AIN'T IT!?! cool It was truly seductive especially considering his past releases. The funnies thing about Ray is that he could've retired or not had another big hit after "What I Say" and still he would've left an indelible mark on music.

I love this song man. I got the same kinda wurlitzer sound in the yamaha motif xs 7 so I always imitate the intro.

For some reason, this song reminds me of the Doors' "Break on through the otherside".
