I want to get into them but I'm scared. What album should I start with? I picked up Black Cherry the other day then put it back. I think I'm just going to close my eyes and buy whatever my hand lands on. [Edited 7/23/08 18:15pm] Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Their albums are so different. I think their last two, Supernature and Seventh Tree are their best, but I know a lot of fans like the first album, Felt Mountain a lot.

Felt Mountain is very different from BlackCherry is very different from Seventh Tree. Supernature feels like a tightened up Blakc Cherry but is excellent. In any event, no matter what you pick you will have her gorgeous voice to listen to. all of the albums are fantastic 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

If you're going to eventually get them all then you might as well buy them in chronological order. Felt Mountain > Black Cherry > Supernature > Seventh Tree.
