Absolutely, the drummer is related to my son. Tommy wrote "Let's Celebrate." It's unfortunate that they couldn't go further with their group during that time. | |

Yeah, they kind of went away when the "supergroup" platform faded in the mid-80s. A lot of groups were effected: EWF, Cameo, Bar-Kays, etc. were all effected. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Yeah, Midnight Star and Full Force were affected too...do you know the exact reasons why suddenly all of these great groups disappeared ? They were better than I remembered them. I will definitely go and check out more of their stuff. Does anybody else remember their song, "Let's Get Up (S-K-Y-Y)", from their first album? Back in the late 70's, the funk radio stations used to ride that tune heavily, but I never see it on any compilations, and it doesn't get mentioned in most discussions on the group...Just wanted to know if anyone else dug it....still my favorite Skyy tune... ... I liked skyy but i'm not a diehard. I like the let's celebrate album
and start of a romance album. I am not familiar some of their other albums. Don't laugh at my funk
