speaking of Cher....it's just about time for her to make another late-decade comeback She always has a big hit at the end of every decade.
In the late 70s,she rode the disco bandwagon and scored big with a 1979 hit single "Take Me Home".This came after several hit-less years. In the late 80s,she returned to synthy rock/pop and scored big with several hit singles ("If I Could Turn Back Time" in 1989 was the biggest).Again,this came after several years of no real hits. In the late 90s,she jumped on the techno/electronica bandwagon and scored the biggest hit of her career with "Believe" in 1999.Once again,this came after several years of non-hits and very little activity. Now,we've reached the late 2000s In 2008 or 2009,she will re-imvent herself again and have a huge hit.Just watch. | |
