It seems Michael's always been a victim of his own success. Thriller was just so huge that its shadow has lingered over everything he's done, and I think he's always felt like he needs to reach that level again (which is impossible).

What I think would be great for him and the world would be to do something similar to what Prince did with Musicology. Strip it down. Don't worry about the teen fans. Come back with a vengeance and remind everyone, including yourself, just WHY you are a legend and one of the baddest performers of all time. Despite all the legal chaos, I think most people want to like MJ again. All he has to do is give them a reason to, and remind them why they liked him in the first place. Not only did this approach give Prince a commercial boost, it solidified his legacy and started an entirely new chapter in his career. It would be amazing to see Michael "come back to Earth" and do the same thing.

Not a big MJ fan, but he takes his time with things while Madonna and Prince rush things out. Perhaps

It shouldn't be an issue. Tina toured till she was 60, The ROlling Stones are still on tour and god knows how old they are. Michael is still yet to turn 50. If he cans till dance and lip syn he can atleast make it look like the old Michael.

His US fanbase is falling. Are they still crazy fr him in Europe?
