The only song I like of theirs is Just To Be Close To You.
Some people think I'm kinda cute
But that don't compute when it comes 2 Y-O-U.

I guess if you are into love songs but if you want some of that early
commodores funk before lionel prepped himself into a great songwriter and
a pop solo career then buy the commodores 2 disc anthology set or some of
the bands other titles like hot on the tracks, machine gun, their self titled
album, midnight magic, or caught in the act.
Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

I still love "Sail On"... Cool that it had pop, rnb and even a country sound to it.

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Those are all superb songs, but this compilation is skimpy. You need a more complete compilation that gives you a better overview of their music.I suggest you get the 2-CD 'Anthology',pictured in Funkenstein's post.

"Sail On" and "Still" are two of my favourite commodores songs.
