Isley Brothers Temptations Earth, Wind & Fire The Jackson 5/Jacksons The JB's Four Tops Martha & the Vandellas Labelle The Ohio Players The O'Jays Duos: Marvin Gaye & Tammi Terrell Sam & Dave Ashford & Simpson (as both songwriters-producers and recording duo) Donny Hathaway & Roberta Flack Chic (it was always just Nile and Bernard to me) McFadden & Whitehead (look at A&S) James Brown & Bobby Byrd (ok not an official duo but I loved their call and responses to each other.  )
Ruffin & Kendrick (the "voices" of the Temptations look at James & Bobby's description)

How long they been here? I thought you had to have 15-20 years of success to be considered among the greatest? I've only known Maroon 5 for the last four years, lol.
Considering part of their sound came from the Jacksons, that is an odd choice but hey it's your choice.
