Well, whadyathink about the guy? I know that he is well along the list of "Rhythmless Bullshit" artists, but I can't deny it when I say that I like some of the guy's music. Guilty as charged.

I like some of his stuff, but attitude-wise, he's an asshole and charges fans for autographs. He's even beefing with Ne-Yo now

I LOVE Trey Songz.

What I like about his music is that it has both edge and romance. It's actually sensual as opposed to crass -- which is what you get usually when you mix thugs with lovers.


Anyway, I think he's written a lot of great songs (for himself and others) and he has a manly charisma. Ummm.

From his debut album, I loved "GOTTA GO" and "Gotta Make it"

But my absolute fav was "From a Woman's Hand" about how a young boy needs his father in order to be a man. I love love love that song.

I think "Kind of Loving" is one of the most scrumptious and sensual songs to play around a lover. And its very sweet.

Surprisingly, Chris Brown caught on, Neyo caught on, and Trey who came out around the same time didn't really have as much impact. I'm not sure why. He's not a dancer.... maybe that has something to do with it.

But his voice and charm are enough to make up for that.

But yes, I do think he has attitude problems. I read once he won't allow dark skinned girls in his video. WTF. That really hurt my image of him.


I didn't know he was beefin' with Neyo, guess he's jealous since they are both former songwriters who are now trying to be artists.

But Trey definitely has 'IT' that special star quality, he even lifted up Twista's 'Girl Tonight' song ..and all he did was moan. Damnit! He's hot.
