yeah it's totally weird. They write her off as a hoebag because she looks and dresses like every other sexy female in entertainment, but there is more to her than that

yeah and these low lifes will praise vanity, appolonia, sheila e who all have dressed liked sluts fucking with p

Indeed...I have more respect for folks that say they just don't like Beyonce's style of music (You can't argue with that because after all that's just an opinion...To each its own) than someone making questionable statements about how she dresses like a hoe or a hip hop slut...It's just a laughable statement coming from Prince fans...

all of prince and rick james female proteges fucked for tracks long before dallas austin came into the picture. It's so fucking obvious, no matter how good their music was.

How about the double standards in her lyrics? Even in consecutive singles? She needs her main to pay her "Bills, bills, bills" and the following year proudly boasts she is an "Independent Woman". Her songs suck. Her personality sucks. She sucks. Period!

she even revived prince's career

Exactly. There is NO female artist out right now who can even come close to Beyonce. Finally, someone admits that Beyonce revived Prince's career. When she appeared with him on the Grammy's, it did wonders for him. He was finally "cool" again. You can bet that if he has just appeared by himself, it would never have made the news that it did. Basically, he used her to connect to the mainstream audience that he has been seeking in recent years. Prince fans hate her for appearing with him; however, they should be glad because it is because of her that the public and the media began to take notice of him. Sorry, but it had nothing to do with "Musicology". The media basically ignores Prince's music when it is released. Let's just face facts, the Beyonce factor helped Prince's career. He knows it and his fans should be mature enough to admit it.

It's an insult to Beyonce to compare her to Britney. Britney is a performer. She can dance and that is all. Beyonce can actually sing and sound as good LIVE as she does on recordings. She can entertain as well live as she does in her videos. She is a good actress. She is truly the best female entertainer out right now. Not only does she have that "old school" flair, she also has the new and hip vibe. "B" is one of the hardest working entertainers-male or female-in the industry today. All the hate in the world is not going to change that.

I never understood why women hated Beyonce. She doesnt act like a low self-esteem-having slut, and she makes music empowering females and they dont appericate her. Weird...

Do you understand why men hate Usher, Justin Timberlake,MJ or Prince or ___insert name of random male artist_____?

rolleyes Lets try this bullshyt one more time.....

1. CORRECTION: Beyonce DID NOT revived Prince's career. The Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame Committee DID when they voted to put Prince in it.

2. Prince could have choosen ANY young female artist to be on stage with him to sing & shake their ass beside Beyonce, so lets be clear on this!

Prince could have hired Christina (a better vocalist, IMO), Nicole Scherzinger (who looks more like a Prince-Girl), Ciara (who beatbites Prince & Janet pretty well) and even Amy Winehouse (who's thinking is as old-school as Prince himself).

Actually its a bit of both...Prince equally benefited from his induction into the Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame (More specifically, his live performance that reminded the general public that Prince was beyond his tag as an '80s artist...He was an all-time great...) and his performance with Beyonce, which surely had an impact, because when its all said and done, Knowles' generation, as much as some of you guys hate to admit it, (and as crazy as it seems) looks at her as their Diana Ross...

Prince performing with those other acts would not have made the same impact with the public at large...Prince hooking up with Christina (who over sings just as much as Beyonce, and sometimes at a more blaring rate; but still is a good performer though) would have been looked at as a bit odd...Nicole would have made no impact at all (she didnt do that much for Puffy's first single, the same way Keyshia Cole did for "Last Night") and Prince hooking up with Ciara would have been looked at as straight up desperate...Amy would have surely bought a cool factor to Prince (and if she performs with Prince in the future, she probably still will...), but she doesn't have the same uber popularity that Beyonce was riding at the time...

Anyone underestimating Prince's performance with Beyonce is not living in reality...

omgosh... now ppl wanna give Beyoncè credit for Prince's comeback?... k what are y'all smokin'? smoker .. NO REAL MUSICIAN .. needs anybody else to 'boost' their career ... they 'shine' on their own .. ... and ppl need to remember .. back in 2004.. the whole Prince/Beyoncè thing happened cause Janet messed up (she was suppose to do the Grammy's).. why didnt they ask Beyoncè to perform alone? why does she need Prince to perform with her.. if she was holding her own back then? ..hmmm? .. cause.. @ the time there was no other female performer on Janet's status (which is gone now), EXCEPT Prince (Madonna, but that wouldnt have worked).. Beyoncè was a pretty added bonus.. and she's just racking up her points now as a star .. she hasnt been asked to do the SuperBowl either (which is big ..NFL is huge money) so..again, I have nothing against Beyoncè .. she's pretty and her personality is nice.. but she gets no credit for another veteran's career ... and also..(lol).. all the awards Prince received.. outbeatting younger artists.. he earned them HIMSELF..

you took my statement too literally. We were on the subject of prince & beyonce's performance anyways and I was referring to that particular one. I meant that beyonce made it because she got asked to perform with one of the greats of our time(prince) and she was still able to hold her own, not many can do that. When britney performed with michael, she was a joke, beyonce wasn't! My reaction was beyonce gets to perform with prince, NOT prince gets to perform with beyonce, see the difference now?

if she was that over.. why was she asked to do the SuperBowl? .. which has triple digit millions of viewers.. eh? her performance even came after Puff's (he was there too) and also.. if Beyoncè was as hot as you say back then.. why didnt they ask her..why was Janet picked over her?

Her second sucks. She is nice looking and has a good voice but
she sings garbage songs. I would take tamia and deborah cox over beyonce

I still would have much rathered see Christina Aguilera perform with Prince at the Grammys than Beyonce. I'm not a Beyonce fan, but I will admit that the girl can sing. Even though, her songs aren't exactly remarkable or very deep, she pulls them off well. The main reason I'm not a fan of the girl is because I remember her and Jessica Simpson making snide comments about how they would never dress like Christina Aguilera did when she did "Stripped", because they were "too lady-like" and "too Christian"...rolleyes Fast forward a couple months later and Beyonce's ass is half-nekkid rolling around on a bed and moaning in "Baby Boy"; and Jessica is rubbing her hot pants ass all up and down a soaped-up hot rod. Hypocrites!!!! I lost all respect for both of them when I saw that...the same way I have lost respect for Avril Lavigne, who used to talk mad shit about all the poptarts of the music biz and is now one herself. I don't care if they have an opinion, when u make bitchy comments about other artists like they have, than u need to back up what u say, not convert into the person u just finished talking shit about. Plus, I'm soo over this, "Girls don't like Beyonce/Britney/whoever, because they are jealous." Jealous of what? If any of these girls looked like Tracy Chapman, people wouldn't be all that interested in them. I don't care how talented any of them are, their pretty faces and nice bodies are keeping them in the spotlight and on the covers of magazines just as much as their albums and that's kinda sad. I hear more people comment on how pretty they are than how good their music is and that's a damn shame. They may not be ugly, but from listening to their interviews, none of them would have been college bound if they hadn't made it in the biz; they aren't exactly the brightest lightbulbs in the box. On a final note, of course they all look good. When ur paying a stylist, a make-up artist, a personal trainer, a personal chef, and rockin' designer outfits, you'd better look fierce....u have no excuse. Just my twocents

even during damita jo, janet was still very respected for her dancing, I mean how could she not have been with that kick ass 'all nite don't stop' choreography she was promoting all over the place right? I think once ciara came along ripping off her moves, that's when the competition began. Even when britney was ripping off janet moves and being so obvious, janet was still seen as the queen of dance by many. Janet at that point was not selling albums like britney, but she continued to have hit singles during all for you, something britney hasn't had since the oops album and toxic which only made it to the top 10. Janet was still going to #1 and the top 5 in 2001 and just a little while was well on it's way to the top till the superbowl happened and they scrapped the single after the leak.

so the 20th anniversary of Purple Rain, the Rock-n-Roll hall of fame and the ever extended Musicology tour, which was promoted as the last of the hits tour had NOTHING to do with it, it was all because of Beyonce????

I would agree that the performance may have looked cool to the younger ones but to say that performance revamped his career sounds retarded to me.
