On June 5th...

Rihanna
Marilyn Manson
Bonde Do Role (you guys should check them out. they are like a Brazillian MIA)

on June 19th
Kenna
Chromeo

Anyone else? Which ones will you be picking up? I plan to get them all I think?! razz

I like Bonde Do Role. smile Chris Cornell's album comes out tomorrow. Dizzee Rascal.....kinda curious to hear how that sounds. Chemical Brothers has one coming out too. Those are the main ones, but I'll check out just about anything that interests me.

Only new album I'll be buying this year is the new Prince cd. So, no June albums for me then neutral

Everyone tells me Chromeo is VERY funky. Even vainandy likes them.

It is ridiculously funky, and Fancy Footwork is the most fun album I've heard since...Fever in 2001? There are some samples if you're interested on another thread. Let me know!

new beastie boys...i heard a little about this, but i forget what the deal is with the new album...from what i remember it's not necessarily "new" but newly remixed/re-recorded old stuff? something like that? ah well. good to see the ol' boys doing something.

Actually no...I think it is all new material. And they wanted to do something opposite from the last one.

They said they weren't gonna use any samples or pro tools and that it was going to be all live playing and a bit of a return to "Check Your Head". Since that's my most favoritist B-Boys era, I welcome the idea.

ah, that's right...for some reason i thought it was going to be a sample-free album of some of the stuff from their last album. i got it all mixed up. oh well. bring it on!

I'm very happy about it. But I had no idea it was so soon. Excellent!

As great as their early stuff is, they completely kicked my ass with Check Your Head and Ill Communication. I'd love more of that.

Their such a tight little band and Ad Rock is so cute with his wah pedal. giggle

Anyway, I don't know if there's anything I'm picking up in June, since Chromeo was released here in May. But there is a lot on the horizon for 2007...

04. The Girls
05. Acceptable in the 80s
06. Neon Rocks
07. Traffic Cops

EDIT: I am too excited tonight. I need to go to sleep. lol

Did u guys know u can listen to all the tracks from the new Marilyn Manson album on their myspace - myspace.com/marilynmanson

I recommend "Putting Holes In Happiness", "Just a Car Crash Away", "Evidence", "Are You The Rabbit" and "You and Me and the Devil Makes 3". I like all the tracks, but those ones are the stand-outs. My favourite is "...Rabbit" or maybe "You and Me....".
