A "Best Of Remixes"....I think we've heard stuff like this before, no? I wonder what a "Best of Remixes" would sound like....would it be super concentrated on the late ninties and after (if Madonna has her say, I'm sure it will). Madonna's best and most memorable remix has always been the Jr, Vasquez remix of "Secret". Brought a great song to a new funky level.

I think the overabundance of divas releasing this year might have made her and/or her label hold back. But releasing a new album early next year is closer to her schedule of 2 and a half years between albums anyway.

But Kylie alone would not have put a dent in Madonna's mind.

I wish they would do a singles boxset or something with all the official edits and remixes. That would be worthwhile.

I think Madonna's the only artist that can get away with this(with the possible exception of Mariah Carey). I mean, yeah there's the remix album in general that's been around for quite a while. But a "Best of Remixes"? How many artists can actually pull that off.

I'd probably spend money on that. Sure as fuck beats the typical "Greatest Hits" format.

Wonder if Timbaland is involved in this? I at least hope that the Missy Elliot mix of "American Life" and the PSB mix of "Sorry" are on there.

Who wants a silly "Best of Remixes" CD? This seems like a stupid attempt to "tide fans over" until the new album is ready for release.

Why not release a multi-disc box set instead? Or at the very least,a really good 2-disc Greatest Hits set?? A compilation of remixes is dumb and pointless.

Well, a new remix collection would be a better way to tide over fans than a 2-disc complilation of tracks we already own. The Immaculate Collection is still somewhat of a consistent seller anyway. She doesn't need a new collection imo.
I'm sure a box set will come out next year in celebration of her silver jubilee.
