She looks about 10 years older than she really is.

The makeup is not helping her. Scrub those layers off and I'm sure she'd look a lot better.

Honey, I work in that business and I can guarantee you that this is how any 37 year old woman looks before her dias are edited-airbrushed-photoshopped-touched-up then shown to the general public. Real fashion models, being the freaks of nature that they are, generally look a little better than this skin wise, but their schedules are a lot more strict and they're slighty better preserved because they're hired to be so. But yes, Gwen looks like a regular 37 year old chick, not much unlike myself, like you see here. Until the 'dream weavers' come in and work their magic on her, that is.

Well my point was that so many had a damn fit over Cats pics and this is almost exactly the same situation.

lighting, the right make-up and a little photoshop does wonders....ask all my avatar pics...they'd tell ya... Cuz otherwise....horrid...

She looks a little like Madonna in that first pic, except a little younger and not emaciated.

People are so used to seeing celebs in glossed over photos we forget what they look like without the enhancement. A few small wrinkles, some discoloration or a zit. Wow, she's a real person after all.
