What 2 musicians/singers would you like to see as friends?

It can be anyone..living or dead. Which 2 musicians/singers would you like to see be friends with each other?

For me it would be:

Michael Jackson

and

Michael Hutchence

The reason being, I think MH could have talked MJ through a lot of his problems with fame, and vice versa. I mean between the 2 of them, they both often bitch/bitched about the price of fame in interviews, so maybe they could have shared stories and both gotten some closure on that.

Plus, MH was a direct guy from most accounts. It would have been neat to see him stand up for MJ.

Another thing is, can you imagine a Michael Hutchence cameo in a Michael Jackson video? Maybe he could have had one of the roles as a thug in "You Rock My World."

Plus both were interested in film-making, Michael Jackson is interested in directing, and before his death, Michael was attached to acting in a new movie around that time.

Lastly, I would have LOVED to have heard maybe a duet or a side project between the 2 of them. Wow. Talk about my music fantasy. Oh well.

'Cause maybe then their fans would get along. Also I'd love to see them perform together.

That would be cool. From everything I've read and seen though, Janet's not too keen on old girl.

Stranger things have happened though like Madge and C-Lo going to yoga classes and shopping with their toddlers together. lol

I know Mariah & Prince are somewhat friends (supposed former collabo/mariah attendting a number of his parties and renting a house he recommended to her lately when her flat got flooded etc) but i would like to SEE a picture of them together dammit! LOL

And i also know George Michael & Mariah supported (and still support) each other behind the scenes but i wanna see more of them in public (i got so pissed when their supposed duet on Live 8 didn't occur due to George being ill and couldn't join in till the finale)

That's true.
My take is that it was more out of respect than buddy-buddy friendship.

I don't believe they actually hung out a great deal.
That's the kind of "friends" I was going after.
The hangin' out kind of friendship that would have overcome any management SNAFUs and eventually resulted in some incredible music making.

I'll agree about the music. It's really sad that didn't happen.

Actually, more of these friendships should be about the music. Who cares if these great musicians go to the movies?

The Beatles & Stones were friends. What if they made music together?

Reincarnate

BB King feels like a friend because I've seen his show numerous times and always feel like I'm going home to see grandpa, or another family member.

I would love to know George Michael also. I like what he's all about.

Offhand, without knowing what you are referring to exactly, I might suggest the whole thing that happened with Michael and Madonna around the 91 "In The Closet" possible duet marketing thing going around, when Michael was buddy/buddy to her and was her date to the Oscars or whatever and he went to after parties with her, only to be ditched by Madonna, for her ex, the guy who played Dick Tracy. And while he stood alone at the party, Diana Ross saw him standing there alone and came and hung out with him that night, while he was upset that Madonna kind of ditched him.

No, it's because Madonna wanted to "out" Michael and tried to turn that duet into a REAL "In The Closet" story. So when he said NO, she dumped his ass. Anyway, Janet is very protective of Michael since they were the closest siblings growing up.

Janet wasn't 12 in 1991.
She is 40 Y.O now. (Don't let the title of her CD fool you. I know she looks hotter than most 20 something girls though.)
As Al Gore would say "that is fuzzy math." Plus, you are never too old to protect and look out for family.
