2. Prince or MJ? Prince
3. Tina or Aretha? Aretha - I never liked Tina at all.
4. Madonna or Janet? Janet - I don't own every Madonna album so she's the loser.
5. Queen Latifah or MC Lyte? MC Lyte - She was more street.
6. Backstreet or NSync? *NSYNC - They were a little edgier.
7. Britney or Christina? Christina
8. James Brown or Sly Stone? Sly Stone - I could see myself buying Sly Stone albums. With James I would only listen to singles.
9. Earth Wind & Fire or Ohio Players? Earth Wind & Fire
10.TLC or Destiny's Child? Ugh. There is no winner here as I hate them both. I suppose Destiny's Child.
11.Brandy or Monica? This is like the R&B version of Britney vs. Christina. Like that comparison, I will go for the more talented singer - Monica.

13.BIG or 2Pac? B.I.G. - East coast all the way.
14.Diddy or Kanye? Kanye - As much of an ass that he is, he can make the occasional good song. I can't say that for Diddy.
15.Metallica or Alice in Chains? Metallica seems to be the obvious choice here, but I'd much rather listen to Alice In Chains's 'Dirt' album than anything by Metallica.
16.Aerosmith or Bon Jovi? Aerosmith because of the Run-D.M.C. collaboration.
17.Whitney or Mariah? Mariah - No winners here either.
18.Erykah or Jill? I don't like either but Erykah gets my vote because she's crazy.
19.Salt n Pepa or En Vogue? I don't see why these two are being compared, but I used to own Salt-N-Pepa's first two records vs. zero En Vogue records so Salt-N-Pepa wins.
20.New Edition or Boys II Men? New Edition - No contest. Boys II Men were too nice.

There are huge gaps in my pop culture knowledge. I never listen to the radio, I've never had cable tv, and I went for about 7 years completely without a television in the nineties, so there's really an entire era of which I'm blissfully unaware. So when I say I don't know anything about Salt n Pepa, I'm just fessing up my ignorance. I'm sure they're a fine band.
