Dream Street is JJ's best album! I don't even own all of her albums but i'm aware of what her newer stuff sounds like and I know none of it compares to the jams on Dream Street. "Don't stand another chance", "Fast girls" and the title track are slamming! I even like the sappy slow jam duet.

That "sappy slow jam duet" is with the great Cliff Richard! He's the Elvis of England! At least mention his name, lol.
Seriously 'Dream Street' is a very nostalgic listen for me since I bought it immediately after 'Control', but had the "Don't Stand Another Chance" 7" pre-Control. It reminds me of those long road trips with my parents during the 80s when I use to listen to the cassette on my walkman in the back seat.

I don't have the album. I only have the 45s "Don't Stand Another Chance" and "Fast Girls". If the rest of the album is like that, then, yeah it would be her best album because "Don't Stand Another Chance" is definately her best song. Andy is a four letter word.

"If you're on Dream Street, You're Fucked." That was me and GangstaFam. Dream Street is the worst album I've ever heard. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!
