As a complete comparison between History And Invinicble, i choose History, because its a more complete album, and its something i could connect with him... Invincible could be easily Justin Timberlakes Album than Michael Jacksons, History at least spawn a few great songs like Stranger in Moscow, TDCAU, Scream showing the world through his perspective, majority were written by him, produced by him, so his labor went into the work, Its easy to hire a bunch of producers, to make you a hit album, its totally something else when your doing it by yourself playing all the instruments writing the songs, YOU wanna sing, thats why i respect Prince so much more than Michael, Cause he does what he wants, and doesn't give a flying fuck what the fans think, Michael is too concerned with being the king of pop, instead of making music how he envisions it, if he evens envisions it anymore, if he feels angry songs, let him do it, if he feels love songs let him do it, but he has to FEEL it, the work suffers when an artist isn't personally connected with the music, on a love basis, Nobodyy wants the King Of Pop anymore, the man in the mirrors face has been smashed to the ground... If Michael needs to record something thats his personally, or something he connects with personally, not because its possibly onna generate a hit. ive said this before, a real artist doesn't care about making hits it helps, but it isn't their main motive its just about making music they enjoy, if the radio don't like it fuck it never kow tow to the jukebox with a heart beat I think Mike has always been torn between the two. You gotta remember he came outta Motown. That's where he learned the business. All they cared about was hits, hits, hits. I think he tries to have a balance of the straight "I need a hit" songs, and the straight artistic expression songs on his albums. The only time I saw that as being a problem was on Invincible.

He sounded more sincere as a 14 yr old than he did age 40....It didn't matter that he didn't write or produce the songs back then and that many of his songs were cover visions. 13 yr old Michael singing covers like 'La, La La means I love you', 'You've got a friend', 'ain't no sunshine', 'Stand', 'People make the world go around' etc sounds so much more sincere and deep than 'Earth Song' or 'Black and white'. We'll just have to see in 2007. I think he'll go a different direction. He's learned his lesson throughout the years. At least he's doing something because he could have easily went into hiding but that's not what he's doing. Hell, even if the LP doesn't come out next year, I'll have the Silver Anniversary of Thriller and 20th Anniversary of BAD releases to hold me over LOL "We may deify or demonize them but not ignore them. And we call them genius, because they are the people who change the world."

I was expecting the total opposite of the music in that preview. I was thinking he might try and come with some wack lil jon sounding beat or something. This on the other hand is really cool. But who even knows?... that could be just a random bit of music they picked for the teaser.

it is to him. and his fans. This is so true. We really have no appreciation for his music at all. It's purely about how many albums he can sell.

It's that little side smile he keeps doing. He just looks really pleased with himself for some reason. Maybe it's just me.

Michael is a smart man, or Raymone is a smart woman, either way, because this interview is a perfect way for MJ to get back in the public eye. No trial talk, no bullshit, just MJ talking about new music. It's a major teaser. November 2, he's going to lure everyone in and make them go crazy waiting for the new album. And I doubt Michael would do something like this if he wasn't atleast close to getting the album finished. There will not be any delays, he's cut all ties with 2 seas, he's got a fresh, new team that will not let him bullshit his way through 2-3 years of promises and exuses. The album will be out next year.... and it will be off the hook!
