The Strobe plays this funky mix of disco and freestyle pretty often and I'm digging it. It's just a fun little jam. Vicky D "This Beat is Mine"....Anyone else familar with this one and as in love with it as I am. I just bought downloaded it.

I know. I was pretty shocked to. It just came up when I was looking at other stuff and I figured "Why not". It's on a compilation titled "Disco Calssics: Sam Records Extended Play". I don't even vaguely recognize the other artists or songs, though.

Weird even though it's all disco, This Beat Is Mine doesn't seem to quite fit in with the rest of the songs up there. Let's Lovedance Tonight sounds a little familiar but you must know Let's Do It by Convertion. That was pretty popular. It's cut off before they get to chorus which might trigger your memory but it sounds a bit slower than I remembered.
