I would prefer Justins. If i had a choice of buying either or, i would buy Justins on the strenth of "sexyback", which is a zillion times better then the average and dull "call on me"

i've heard 8 tracks of 13 from janet's record. sadly, i only care for one. meanwhile i've heard all of justin's record and i dig 5 of the tracks. i'll have to wait for 26 september before i make any decisions but it ain't lookin' good for janet.

i don't have any intentions of buying justin's cd. but at this point, for the first time ever, i don't have any intentions of buying janet's either. shit, times are just too hard for me to spend money on a cd just because of who the artist is behind it. janet may be janet and i may love her but if her cd sucks, well, ol' girl ain't paying my tuition or my rent so...

I'm more interested to hear what you think about this Cee.

Having heard the bulk of 20 YO (fucking awful title! - probably JD's doing too, to make a 40 year old woman somehow hip with the kids), I think it's dreadful, a huge disappointment and a missed opportunity. Haven't heard Just in Time's album, but I thought "Sexyback" was crap - although full credits to him for pushing his somewhat thin and small envelope a little bit further. So he's won.

Well... I'm waiting for Janet's to be released. I haven't heard the sampler, but I haven't been too overwhelmed by COM or S.EX. But I've made a decision: I'm going to buy Janet's cd even though it might not be my all time favorite. I've bought all of Prince's music without question and have liked some more than others. So I'm going to give Janet the same benefit of the doubt. It's just that thus far, it's not the uptempo dance cd I was expecting, but I'm sure there will be a couple of tracks I enjoy. I think the S.EX video premiers today on BET, right? I can't wait to see it. I've heard the choreography and concept is great!!!!!

As far as Justin... No. I'd just prefer to buy another copy of Prince's Sign of the Times or 3121. Heck, I'll buy another copy of MJ's Thriller or Off the Wall. But I'm not buying Justin's cd.

I'll probably end up buying Justin's CD if not for the fact that it is really the latest creation from TIMBALAND. That's where my loyalty lies.

For now, I haven't even heard Janet's new CD but I made this thread because I know some of y'all already have. And I haven't bought new Justin.
