Mariah remixes by far. For the facts that everyone mentioned. Her dance remix for always be my baby hooked me on to those.

Annie Lennox remixes have always been impressive as well.

Mariah shows a great interest in remixes! I love the fact that she re-records her vocals especially for the remixes!

Madonna only did that once with the Don't Cry for me argentina mixes! sad

Mariah, because she puts so much work into them.

I also like a lot of Janet's, and she has had some truly incredible remix packages (Runaway, Together Again, If....)

I wish you would describe the formula of a remix.

take away everything that made the original song worth listening to and replace it with bland, repetitive beats and chopped up vocals instead of lyrics.

totally. lol

I think the vocals were redone for the "Take A Bow" remixes.

Björk is the queen of the remix. Everyone else pales in comparison.

There are only a couple of remixes that I can even stomach anymore. I still think Madonna's 'Justify My Love' EP was amazing, the midtempo mixes of 'Together Again' wipe the floor with the album version, and I gotta admit that I listened to 'Shut Up and Dance (The Mixes)' more than my fair share back in the early '90s.
I'm the first mammal to wear pants.
