I think it has stronger melodies and a poppier sound, which appeals to me. Dewdrops in the Garden is probably too dance-oriented to contend. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! I think they have a ton of highlights, but Dewdrops is the more satisfying album. Solid from beginning to end. I love the other 2 albums, although infinity took me forever to really click with. Dewdrops, the connection was instant and still remains. I think this is hands down their best and most solid album, even without Towa Tei I think Towa's solo albums are excellent as well. Not really but there is speculation... The GH says that Dimitri and Keir broke up. (I thought Dimitri was gay..but anyways). Keir was way too into the drug rave scene. Towa Tei left to persue other things Dewdrops (I think) did pretty bad when it came out...although it was their best effort so far. I have read post break up that many regarded them as a flash in the pan, just a "fashion group" that was never taken seriously...even though thier semi-serious themes from their second effort turned many of the casual fan off by being "too PC". Prolly becasue it's so underrated (by the gen public) and never got the hits or airplay it deserved. It's also lyrically "better" than the previous efforts. And really has a fun vibe to it that didn't seem forced. It's a very relaxing fun album to listen to. Christian Zombie Vampires

i loved world clique when it came out, and i loved infinity within, even though it was a little preachy...but i still remember hearing dewdrops for the first time and sitting in the car with my mouth open through the first four or five songs, wondering when it was going to let up. i have fond memories of all three albums, but i think dewdrops is something really special. I happened to fall out of them and then back into them...after they broke up and the Hello Happy Line was a Memory. I had even heard the album prior but nothing stuck with me...it wasn't until the remix album came out that I decided to pick it up. Although the album was great and all...It left me a bit sad as this was such a great album and yet...they were done. Christian Zombie Vampires

Still, it's one of the premiere dance albums of its time. As a kid, I got caught up in World Clique as I'm sure a lot of folks did that were hooked by "Groove is in the Heart". But I totally didn't follow through with Deee-Lite until some of my raver friends turned me on to Dewdrops and Sampladelic Relics in the mid-90's. I wish I had paid attention all along, cuz I really missed out. I would give anything to have been able to see them live. see above...we had the same experience. I did see them live on the first album. I was so decked out and could not wait to see them. It was at the Riviera in Chicago and my BF at the time was not handleing the crowd well (I was fine and we were with my friends). He kept bothering me about the crowd and other things and asked if we could get more towrds the back (where I couldn't see). So we went to the back and that was good enough...so I went up to the top of the balcony way in the back. He was happy I was Not good times AT ALL! Christian Zombie Vampires

They still camp it up with "Pussycat Meow", so it wasn't too heavy-handed. And "Love Is Everything" is a contender for their best song. Too bad it's a bonus track Christian Zombie Vampires

new stuff from an album she said was forthcoming No, that's not what I mean. I don't think seeing them individually a decade later performing solo material would cure my live Deee-Lite love jones. I would gladly dress in drag to see them 3 of them together.

I have no clue where she is going to be on Saturday though(I am such a bad homo). My thing with Towa is in a way different place than it is with them.
