It is unfortuante this album wasn't promoted better. Despite Kylie singing like a blow-up doll, the incredibly boring video for "Slow," and poor choice for follow-up singles... there are some great tunes on it. I too like "Secret (Take You Home)" and the import singles!
The DVD, by the way, was kind of a let-down too. Of course, nothing was as ultra-sexy as that "On a Night Like This" concert. But I suppose I shouldn't bitch. At least she came out with a follow-up to the excellent "Fever" and received some attention here in the states. Dear Ms. Minogue, I hope you are doing well and are on your way to a speedy recovery. If you feel like it, please get back in the studio soon! If that damn Ashanti releases something again before you, I will be pissed. I don't like her. I like you though, and your songs. Oh, and I like the hot men you usually dance with in your videos and concerts. Please consider that when making your next record. Also, please don't sing like a blow-up doll anymore either. You might also kick your sister in the butt too. What, does she need a match under her ass to get a new CD out or what? You two are The Minogues for pete's sake! I agree. The radio edit sucks though....I love every second of the album verison. It's so layered and her thin girly voice just makes the song so sexy. It was a pretty solid album. | |

BTW, don't you just love the way this album looks. The graphics team REALLY WENT TO TOWN on the typography and style of the album contents. Other Kylie fans think I'm mad, but Body Language is IMO easily her most solid album. There may be more "classics" on the others, but this is the only one I can play from start to finish and be left wanting more. | |
