I guess that added up to a lot of fair-weather fans. Her sales dropped from 5.2 million to 700,000.

i'm proud to say i'm not a real pink fan.

very proud. lol

If you're NOT a real Pink fan, then you should definitely check out "Try This" it's her most album album. The production on it is quality and it's far more rewarding.

M!ssundaztood, Can't Take Me Home and her newest largely appeal to people with expectations.

This statement cannot be more false lol I really pretty much despised Pink as the latest one girl wonder to hit the music market. I checked out her first album and I really didn't like it at all. Maybe one or 2 songs I could get into. The rest talk to the hand

I bought Misundastood only because I wanted to see if she was doin anything worth knowin about, certainly not out of expectation. Get the party started is such a wretched example of the brilliance that sits on this album. 18 Wheeler.....perfect! worship

i think she has a great voice and a great stage presence that has yet to really be done justice. i've seen a couple of television performances that completely blew me away. the girl can sing, and she can work a stage. i don't think she's made an album yet that really shows her talent.

She performed on Conan last night, and it looked like a Bad Mime performance.

Granted there isnt such a thing as a Good Mime performance.

She usually does great on stage, but this just wasn't one of her better ones.

but i like the "stupid girls" song.

i'm gonna have to check out "try this" because i'm not loving the new album. it's just a little bit WB teen drama soundtrack for my taste, though there are a couple of songs i can kinda tolerate. i love her voice, i just have a hard time what she chooses to do with it.

all of that said, "nobody knows" is pretty sweet. nod and "dear mr. president"...damn girl! okay, i'm liking some of this album a lot...

lol @ that comment!

Yeah, "Dear Mr. President" definitely hits you. I'm glad the younger kids are exposed to tunes like this.

I just got done listening to it, its alright, not as good as mz understood. The love ballads are bit cliche ridden.

the stand out tunes are:

Stupid Girl
Dear Mr. President (love the whiskey and cocaine line) pun intended.

I would have liked The One That Got Away, but its a bit to much like shes trying to channel Joplin's ghost.

overall 3 out 5.

Average Mo's and high school girls will like it. wink wink
