It's a Paul McCartney and Wings song.

Wait, it's on London Town.

nod Which came out in '78.

London Town certainly won’t floor you on the first listen, but after you’ve heard “Girlfriend,” “Backwards Traveller” and “I’m Carrying” a few times, their charms may win you over (in fact, Michael Jackson liked “Girlfriend” enough to cover it himself). The album’s sedate (some might say “sad”) songs are hardly arena friendly, but the band’s pop craftsmanship is clearly still intact. If you’re looking for Wings’ most underrated album, this is it.

"It's The Falling In Love" is the best slept-on gem on Off The Wall.

Macca had it on his album a year before. Mary was a big Jackson 5 fan, Paul and MJ met at a party in 76 and Paul told MJ he wrote a song for him.

and Paul is no ass, btw.

They are actually very similar. nod Except MJ's is a bit "funkier". Well funk-lite I'll say. lol REALLY funk-lite.

I disagree. Especially when you have songs like "Rock With You" and "get On The Floor", which I think are sonically better.

I love the H out of this album.

Everything's solid on it. No complaints. No song I favor over the other, every gem is a standout.

It's perfect.

Not the BEST song on Off The Wall (that's "I Can't Help It"), but I certainly don't skip "Girlfriend".

I agree with u with a passion. I don't care if Paul did write it, his version AND MJ's both blows as far as I'm concerned. Mike never even would have considered doing this cut if Sir Paul hadn't wrote it. That song is sorry.

I used to think Get On the Floor was the weakest but more and more I would hear things in it that I didn't pick up on previous listens. The groove and percussion are great and I like his low vocals and OMG, the break is too hot!

I agree! That song is excellent and could have easily been a single in 1979.
