i checked it out and i aint digging the tunes...or the forced black "soul" voice
routine...its nice..and the production is quite interesting ...but people like BECK or even another british new artist "TOM VEK" do this sorta retro...80's/soul/funk hybrid sorta thing in a more convincing manner...just my two cents...

I knew this guy because I read in a critic´s blog something like "if you think nothing relevant happened on Black Music since Prince, you´d better check this guy".

And Jamie is indeed good. I have this ´Multiply´ album, and you can feel he is experimenting with technology the same way that Prince used to do. But in terms of songwriting, I didn´t feel his songs a lot. I must hear again and again.

Please top comparing Chevy's to Ferrari's. The guy has some skill but comparing him to Prince is well ur...ridiculas.

he was originally an electronic artist... so I wouldn't get too adjusted to his sound.. you never know what he will come up with next...
