Sleeves of Morrisseys new single. These are the sleeves of Morrissey´s brilliant new single "You have killed me" out on March 27. CD1 contains the extra track "Good looking man about town" and CD2 contains "Human being", "I knew I was next" plus the video of "You have killed me" which is done in the style of 1970s Eurovision contest.
Gotta love Morrissey for these single sleeves alone. His sense of humour is simply brilliant:

I'm so happy I quit hating on the Moz. It's fun to be excited about his releases again.

Yeah, I liked "You are the Quarry" but the 3 songs from "Ringleader of the Tormentors" that I have heard so far are at least as good as the best stuff on Quarry. "Southpaw Grammar" and "Maladjusted" were not that exciting in my opinion. [Edited 3/6/06 12:20pm]

[Edited 3/6/06 12:20pm] I agree. I actually ended up selling those CDs as I just wasn't getting into either of them.

Southpaw Grammar was a mess but there are some cool songs on Maladjusted, my favourite is the ballad wide to receive.

I wouldn´t have sold these CDs because on both discs there are a few gems despite the overall mediocre quality. The first four tracks on Maladjusted are absolutely brilliant but "Satan has rejected my soul" is Morrisseys worst song ever. Really embarrassing.

yeah, I went through a phase of being REALLY over Morissey, and that was back when these albums came out. I only bought them as he was supposed to be preforming in MPLS for Maladjusted. A friend of mine wanted to come up from Iowa for it, so I agreed to go with him. Anywho, the show was canceled at the last minute, so I almost immediately went and sold those CDs back.

Unfortunately he is notorious for cancelling gigs at the last minute. Just like Maria Callas

Just like Maria Callas well, I can't complain really. I have been able to catch him 3 times in MPLS. All in very intimate venues.

The song is fabulous! I don't know ANYONE who has a better sense of melody than Morrissey.
After You Are the Quarry caught me completely by surprise in 2004 (I liked it better than fellow veteran releases by Prince, The Cure and Björk) and hipped me to his solo work, I'm excited for this. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Well, I saw him only twice: On the Your Arsenal Tour and on the Oye Esteban Tour. It was great but I find his gigs quite short. He usually plays only 70-80 minutes.
