PrintableI think it's her singing style that irritates me. She's had some blinding hits, but on about half of them her voice sort of ruins it. It's jumping all over the place, and not in the Whitney/Mariah "vocal gymnastics" type of way because it's not as tuneful. Ever since I first heard 'No No No'. I feel sort of the same way. I know that she is really beautiful, she's very talented, she can sing really well (even if she tends to over-emote at times), she is an incredibly sexy dancer, and she has a decent personality to boot --- yet my feelings tend to run cold whenever I see her.   For some reason, I've never been able to connect emotionally with her or her music, even though I like most of it. Some of it may be due to overexposure, but maybe it's just that there are certain types of artists who really appeal to me, and she is not one of them.
