The Pride and Joys of your music collection...Besides Prince

Mine are mostly vinyl Joys...

I just realized I have Madonna's Like a Virgin on WHite Vinyl. Not sure where it came from...but it's very cool. I have her true blue single on blue vinyl.

Pet SHop Boys Relentless on Vinyl. It's 3 multi colored disks

The Orb - U.F.ORB - This came in a Vinyl Bag that you had to cut mad but inside was the album (2 discs) and a bonus vinyl of them live. SOme art prints tossed in too.

The Orb - Orbus Terrarum on vinyl

Cockteau Twins Singles Box

Christian Zombie Vampires

Anxiety

I just ordered the Talking Heads brick this weekend. That's gonna be a jewel of my collection - I'm drooling in anticipation.

Other than that, probably my Bowie collection and my bootleggage box of assorted goodies...and even though it's a book and not a CD, I'm VERY proud of my hardbound copy of "Moonage Daydream" autographed by la Bowie himself. drool

My Charlatans collection is probably my biggest non-P joy in my collection. That includes the whole collection, CDs, vinyl, random cassingles, official releases, bootlegs, VHS, DVD, etc.

Beyond that would be a handful of other vinyls. The Smiths' Headmaster Riual 12" jumps immediatly to mind. But I also have other vinyl by Stone Roses, Wonderstuff, Madonna which I have to take out on occasion just to look at smile

what's that?

oh, and endo's post made me remember - i'm also very proud of my saint etienne collection. i have several wacky import albums and comps that are way out of print now, and i have an autographed copy of their first greatest-hits CD, 'too young to die'.

StEt is a great record collector geek band because they release all kinds of little things that are limited edition without them even announcing that it's limited edition.
