SYDNEY, Australia (AP) -- Pop diva Kylie Minogue will hold her homecoming Australian tour at the end of next year, after canceling the event earlier this year when she was diagnosed with breast cancer, her promoter said Sunday.

The London-based 37-year-old singer had returned to her hometown of Melbourne in southern Australia to perform her "Showgirl: The Greatest Hits" tour in May when she was diagnosed.

Minogue underwent surgery in a Melbourne hospital to remove the cancer, and doctors declared the operation a success.

On Sunday, her Australian tour promoter, The Frontier Touring Company, announced the tour would begin at the end of 2006.

Promoter Michael Gudinski said the company hoped to announce the exact dates in the New Year.

"We appreciate that the end of next year is a long time away for ticket holders and the option of refunding tickets will remain available to fans," Gudinski said.

"Kylie has decided the 2006 version of 'Showgirl' will be varied and updated from the original version seen overseas in 2005 as a thank you for the patience and understanding of Australian ticket holders," he added.

I get to see her 4 times then!

i wonder if there will be 2 video releases then???? one is due out already this month. i have the dvd of the televised version; can't wait to see the official release with backstage footage!!!


curious as to how she'll update it.
1. Red Blooded Woman needs some different choreography, that's for sure. and outfit.

2. the ballad version of "Come Into My World" should be extended.

3. add "Finer Feelings". maybe the brothers in rhythm mix

4. the encore, "Love At First Sight"...though nice...probably should end the show with "Celebration" or even a revamped version of "I Believe In You"

5. GET RID OF THE AWFUL OUTFITS FOR "DANCE KYLIE" SECTION

6. Call Chico to be choreographer

7. Invite Robbie for a full out rock version of "Kids" and have Chico be his personal assistant.

8. Take out "Where The Wild Roses Grow" from "RBW" and do it seperately.

9. "Hand On Your Heart"...was cute for a t.v. show maybe...but do away with the drag queen looking ladies just scrap the whole idea and start from scratch on that one.

10. As beautiful as the blue "ostrich" outfit is..let that o a song or two earlier.
