What is the longest an album has delayed?! I know a couple of years back the ZZ Top album Mescalero was put back nearly 8 months. By the time it came out everyone had downloaded it and it didn't even make the Top 100. This album will tank unless they seriously try and rebuild the momentum they had with the first single.

This is one that I'll never understand. That damn album has been delayed for months. It might have sold months ago but people have lost interest and even forgotten about it by now.

Another crazy thing, where the hell was the single, "What's The Fuss"? The song was played on the radio for a few months but if there was a single available out there, I sure as hell didn't see it. Radio has slacked off playing it now. I've never heard of not being able to buy a song until it becomes out of style. What is the record company doing....setting the album up to purposely fail? Back in the day it was the other way around. Back then, once a song became out of style, then it was hard to find.

Yeah, the promotion strategy for this album has been a disaster. The first single "What The Fuss" was released to radio and created alot of buzz. The video even got played on BET (a feat in itself, since they usually only play 22-year old rappers, lol). But the single was not available in the U.S.,although I think it was sold in some other countries. The song was "hot" for awhile and was getting a great reception from fans. This was the time to release the album. But instead we got more delays and more fake release dates.Oddly,a second single was quickly released ("From The Bottom Of My Heart"),even though the album was nowhere in sight.

And now,we finally have a confirmed release date for the album, but the hype has died down. They may need to rush out a third single to sustain interest.Of course,if the album is brilliant, all will be forgiven. But it's a shame that a much-anticipated project like this had to go through all that nonsense.

Yeah, and that was a disappointement too. Might as well have been called "Come pt. 2". (and 4 all U die hard fans, b4 U correct me, I DO know they were supposed 2 intertwine!)

What's the name of Stevie's label - Motown? more like Slo'Town!

Man, exactly.

A really catchy and potentially hot single gets released with.....no album.

What the fuck kind of backwards promotion is that?!

Motown has already ruined Stevie's album.

No one's gonna care about it now months after two singles were released.

After all the hype, I guess I was expecting maybe an NPG answer to Sign O The Times or sumthin'.
Also there are so many subsidiaries e.g. The Beautful Experience, The Versace Experience, it just blended in2 one for me.

Bottom line, NOT my fave album... Deal with it! nana

I didn't realize the US didn't see that CD single for "So What The Fuss". It was very well distributed up here in Canada.

We didn't see a CD single for that other track though (the one with the MJ Katrina tribute title).
