I actually find 2005 to be a bit sparse, but I admit to not being as feverishly adventurous as I was last year.

So far, I like 5, count 'em, 5 albums from this year.

and you won't list them? wink

It's time you did another top 100 thread or something, I like those.

1. Gorillaz- Demon Days
2. LCD Soundsystem- LCD Soundsystem
3. New Order- Waiting for the Sirens' Call
4. Missy Elliott- The Cookbook
5. Vive la FĂȘte- Grand Prix

If you can count Annie's Anniemal (released in 2005 in many countries), that would be top of the list.
Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Anxiety

how could i forget about st. etienne? i don't play this one a lot because i have to be in the right mood for it, but when i wanna hear it, it's WONDERFUL. the best thing they've done in years, maybe since 'good humor' (which i know wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but i love how melodic and simple it is).

Oh, that's just wrong.
wink

I'll have to add to my list of Torrent-induced finds (all of which I'll buy):

Magic Numbers

It's like New Pornographers with an actual beating heart.

New Pornographers are doing three shows in NYC this fall. I may skip them all.

I have to get new Horrorpops and new Cranes tomorrow.
