for real. With his weight gain, less women are swooning over him now. I personally think it's funny how he deliberately gained weight in order to get away from the sex symbol status. I guess this separates his real fans from the fake ones. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

It's true, she talks about one particular incident in this book I have. i believe it, i just find it funny that an audience thinks they can have an artist all to themself because of their sexual orientation or gender. Hold on, i forget what site i'm posting at. i've seen Annie a couple of times before she really blew up, back in 91 or 92 sometime, she had that whole coffee house crowd going on back then. i guess times have change. The last time i seen her was for the Dialate tour, the crowd was pretty chill then, but much bigger.

MJ and Prince fans in general are weird enough in their general worship, as is witnessed at MJ courtcases and well, every Prince concerts.
But the one winning, when it comes to loony fans is of course Madonna; once you factor in gay adoration you get insanity; grown gay guys wearing pink cowbowhats, please!

Kidding, of course, but I guess I think any fan thinks at some level that a person is foolish to not like somebody they do.

Jimmy Buffet and Dave Mathews! Grateful Dead was cool actually because their fans were so organized and a lot devoted their life to making a living selling trinkets made from hemp and granola. They also were very peaceful and did a lot of acid. Of course you can easily be annoyed by this but they did know how to jam. I'm telling you that going to one of their shows is a real sensory experience!!

Moonbeam said: HamsterHuey said: Ermmm That, actually, is true. You American twad. They suck! The Beatles aren’t simply the finest and most beloved popular music act of the last fifty years. They represent all the best in western culture. As Saul Bellow is to the modern novel, as Hitchcock is to film, they symbolize all we are capable of, all we can achieve – and if I stand by and let you so callously bad-mouth their music and their fans, then the TERRORISTS HAVE WON.

I agree that most big stars have their share of over-zealous fans but Madonna's hardcore fans can be irritating when they try to make it seem like its high art everytime she scratches her ass. I also like MJ but he has some crazy ass fans, especially the ones who gave up jobs to be at his trial everyday.

are you denying that you have a screw loose? anyway: 1. Prince 2. Janet 3. Michael Jackson 4. Madonna 5. Mariah Carey "Awards are like hemorrhoids. Sooner or later, every asshole gets one."

1. MJ - GeishaGirl's post said it all
2. Madonna - the girl could fart and everyone would call it high art 3. Britney - the majority just have no taste at all and are as crazy as she is 4. Prince - no unity whatsoever, this site is a pure case in point I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that
