I'm not really a Beach Boys fans, but "Kokomo" is a fun favorite of mine. I'm sure Beach Boys fans will beg to differ though. I love the part that goes "Port Au Prince I wanna catch a glimpse" and then the sax solo comes in. Makes you wanna grab a drink and head to the beach.

well I don't agree with over half of what VH1 says. I just don't see what's so bad about Kokomo, really I don't yeah, it may be kinda cheesy, but who says you gotta listen to serious music all the time.

Bad song by one of my favorites, and still it's better than most everything on the radio today. At least it's memorably bad!

damn, no love for Kokomo. I classify it in the same category as "Wake Me Up Before You Go Go".I love it, but can you really take it seriously. It's really nothin' more than a fun summer song.

C'mon I know it's more Kokomo fans than myself.

it was a wiggle...definitely a wiggle.

I like the song. I like Kermits version a lot too. I prefer the vocals raw. The BBoys have a bit too much sugar on top. That might be what's working against it.
