Motley Crue- Dr Feelgood This is their only album I own. I think its great. What rock should be. About sex, with a hugely over produced sound. Pure and simple. I noticed in UK they didn't get far. I love rocking out to the title track. Awesome song. Can't forget "kickstart my heart" "slice of your pie". Pretty much good all the way through. [Edited 6/28/05 14:59pm]

dude, don't talk about the Crue without mentioning Too Fast For Love or Shout at the....
Dr.Feelgood was their commercial height, but their first two albums are metal classics.

Not their best album, but it's a good one (even if you misspelled their name). I love the title track and especially love Kickstart My Heart. S.O.S. was also good.
My favorite album of theirs would either be this one: or this one

Dr.Feelgood was their commercial height, but their first two albums are metal classics. I only ever got that album. Then I just stopped on the cheesy metal tip. So, I see they got an album called "girls girls girls", any good?

Dr. Feelgood came out when I was first getting into music and I love it to this day.
Over fifteen years later, "Kickstart My Heart" is still among my top 100 songs ever. I also adore the other singles and the other tracks aren't too shabby either. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Bob Rock made a great sounding record - Metallica got him for their Black Album because of the sound on Dr Feelgood.
Shout At The Devil is a great album as well. I think you need to be 15 to enjoy Girls Girls Girls, don't you?

On the cut Looks That Kills, Tommy really demonstrates strong skills. It's one thing to hear them on wax but its like heaven to see then in concert.

The 1st 2 Crue LP's are the best. I just saw them live back in March and the show was one of the best rockshows I went to in a long time. Janet Jackson said she used to crank the song "Dr. Feelgood" backstage before she went onstage becasue it got her fired up to perform.

I don't own even one Motley Crue album.

Should I? If you like metal from that era, then I like some of it. I just remember making fun of people that listened to 80s metal back then. Now I like some of it actually. I do like that song though (Dr. Feelgood) "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven
