fleetwood mac versus the beatles

not too dissimilar bands

i love the beatles but at the same time i'm sick of them

the beatles were much more influential but way more annoying

i never want to hear hey jude again

i have all their albums and only 5 fleetwood mac albums

tusk is as good as if not better than the white album, the best beatles album

rumours is on par with sgt. pepper

tango in the night and mirage are equal to rubber soul and revolver, given that revolver is ridiculously overrated

fleetwood mac self titled is better than the beatles' early albums

lennon and mccartney were a pretty dynamic duo but lindsey buckingham and stevie nicks can't be too far behind

overall fleetwood mac win

Yeah but milli vanilli had "blame it on the rain". If its ever raining, I can blame it on the rain. See, its a clever song.

Oh yeah. I like that song. It was a b side I think?

I cant see many comparisons really, except "who do u prefer to listen to", in which case I say neither.

i dunno...

two bands that pumped out many a finely crafted pop song as well as having more subtle layers

two bands with multiple singer/songwriters for greater versatility than your average band

two bands that topped the charts around the world back in the day

two of my favourite bands

and finally, why not?

makes a change from prince v mj or elvis v the beatles, imo

It's quite easy to compare the two, actually. I think kinaldo has done a good job listing some points of comparison.

And what does this have to do with thesexofit confuse

or how about this songwriter contest instead...

Lennon/McCartney vs Buckingham/Nicks

anyone who argues for the latter in this case deserves a slap

Sure you can compare anything. And I get the comparisons. My point was that I personally can't make the call. I like them both for different reasons. Perhaps it was mis-read...not written clearly.

RE: Sex of it. I was responding to his silly reply.
now if you don't mind...let me pick on him in peace. thanks.

I'd rather sleep with Stevie Nicks than the Beatles, if that helps...? shrug

Hard to compare the two really, although no Beatles performance has ever stunned and amazed me like Buckingham's live version of Big Love - omg How can anyone play guitar that well? AND he sings it at the same time drooling
