THE VELVET UNDERGROUND & NICO Survivor: Round 2 
Round 1 saw a clear loser in "There She Goes Again". Now things will get substantially more difficult. Vote for one song that you wish removed from consideration as the best on the album. This is already really tough, but I have to go with "European Son," simply because I think its goal was achieved better on the subsequent album White Light/White Heat.

Sunday Morning - it's a very good song - a pleasant, calm introduction to the album, a reprieve from the chaos and drones that make up much of the record, but it still feels like a minor track to me. | |

I aint gonna choose European Son.I'm partial to that song.espcially the part where it sounds like they drag a chair across the floor followed by the sound of breaking glass. A brilliant moment.So I choose:

I have to mention that I'm absolutely amazed to see they published a volume for Neutral Milk Hotel's 'In an Aeroplane Over the Sea.' I love that album, but I can't imagine more it's sold more than 50,000 worldwide. How on earth can they publish a book that has such limited appeal? | |
