Patti labelles voice. Why she gotta go overboard? My mum is driving me crazy at the mo' playing her stuff. Her MOR Adult style shit is fine, but ahhhhh. She just played a version of "superowoman" with gladys knight. Patti ruins the song.

I know exactly what you mean. I love Patti and have a few of her cd's, but sometimes she goes way overboard and just yells.

I also think that about Chaka Khan!!

I have the Yo Mister 12 inch single and frequently just play the instrumental which is basically Prince's band at the time. And I don't miss Patti's voice when I hear it.
