Uh, the last five?!?! Maybe 10. Yeah, I'd say 10. HIStory and then kaput. [Edited 6/4/05 19:46pm]

"invincible" had a release date of 1999 I think? MJ kept changing producers. He didn't care anymore. His heart was gone, but great flashes do sometimes happen (like "what more can I give"), but rarely these days.

If found guilty he'd likely get special treatment because of who he is and the money he has. You couldn't really put him in with the general population.
On a side note, those who have made up their minds one way or the other on his guilt or innocence don't have a leg to stand on. It's the same deal as with O.J. If you weren't there or don't have all of the evidence (meaning you're not in the courtroom on a daily basis) you don't know what went down. It wouldn't surprise me whether they were both guilty or innocent. Now R. Kelly and the L.A.P.D. in the Rodney King trial are different stories.

If found guilty and not getting therapy I can't see him surviving it.

If MJ goes to prison, I will be so sad. Its one of those things that you think you'll never see happen.
I don't think he will be found guilty though.

dag said: Get real, dag! MJ would get special treatment just as he always has. You have absolutely nothing to worry about.
thanks, voices. You know itś hard to stay sane in this situation. I just downloaded some news footage by that greatest BITCH Nancy Grace and I am thinking "DAMN if the jury thinks the way she does, than this won´t be pretty" Nancy Grace made up her mind before the trial even started. Every defendant is guilty in her eyes so take everything she reports with a grain of salt.

Hopefully he will put his kids first & not put all his energy into $$$$$ & fame. The kids are what he needs to concentrate on - not getting the circus back on track. He needs a lifestyle change & not just for himself.

& not put all his energy into $$$$$ & fame. The kids are what he needs to concentrate on - not getting the circus back on track. He needs a lifestyle change & not just for himself. you might be right. But knowing MIke I know he will try to do something musically as well. He can´t like without it. Nancy Grace made up her mind before the trial even started. Every defendant is guilty in her eyes so take everything she reports with a grain of salt.
I know. I know that she´s awful. But it´s just hard watching her influencing so many ppl through TV. I just pray and hope that there´s noone like that on the jury. That they are intelligent ppl. I hate her, I really do. As well as that other bitch Dimond. And I´ll never understand how can she be invited to Larry King over and over agan, cause Larry himself seems to be kinda fair, but I can´t figure out, why he has to keep those biases bitchies on his show as "experts". "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I havent seen either of them on Larry King since that fiasco where tons of callers kept verbally attacking them for their bias coverage of the trial. Larry King really seemed to be clueless as to why all those callers where saying the same thing.

yeah, that was a good one when they got told off. I loved it. But I haven´t seen Larry on MJ since. So they haven´t been there? GREAT!! I'm pretty confident that MJ won't be found guilty on any of the charges, but if - god forbid - I'm wrong and Michael does go to jail, he will never survive it. He seems to be a very strong minded individual, but over the past couple of years he's just been tortured by this to an extreme, and everybody has a breaking point.
It's really sad, too, because this could have been prevented. This whole thing is a tragedy, any way you slice it, and I really hope that everything turns out for the best. MJ has just looked so sad the past couple of days, and he must be going through hell, not knowing what his future holds. It would be selfish for me to say that I want more music if he does somehow get out of this mess, but I hope that he heals first and makes a point of healing his public image with the community before he delves into a new album or tour. I'll be praying for him and the verdict tomorrow. [Edited 6/5/05 14:38pm] "Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart." - Khalil Gibran

like VoicesCarry said,
life will definitely go on - as it should. I will be surprised if Michael is found guilty. this should be, however, a "wake-up call" for him in that he should NOT be "sharing a bed" or "sleeping in the same bed" with any child, male or female. like I've said before - Michael has gone on & on about "not having a childhood" but he needs to get over that, it would behoove him to doing the best he can in terms of providing a "reasonably normal" childhood for "his" kids - including letting them spend more time with their mother. Michael's place in music history is secure, has been secure just from his work with the Jackson 5. he has nothing more to prove in terms of his musical legacy. I suppose he could still choose to record & tour, but if he did I would rather see him produce himself & follow his own vision (whatever that might be) instead of bringing in the producer(s) of the moment. I'll see you tonight..
