Where are all the Radiohead fans here?

I'm not seeing a whole lot of love for Radiohead on this board, but this band is simply brilliant!

The Bends and OK Computer alone are sheer masterpieces.

I really think Thom Yorke is a genius. His melodies are just so beautifully tragic and his lyrics are unique to...say the least. Very original, deep, sophisticated stuff. Plus, there's his voice. It sounds like it's from another world. So wounded, but so dynamic too. He can sound broken or flat out enraged at the drop of a hat.

I haven't been impressed with "new" artists (ones not from the 60's to 80's) very often, but Radiohead are amazing.

"We Suck Young Blood" off their last album is possibly one of the most gorgeous, most suicidal songs I've ever heard, and I've been addicted to it ever since I first heard it. I highly recommend it to everyone.

an

Outside Prince, they're the best concert I've ever been to.
I haven't bothered with them so much lately because they seemed like too much hard work and Thom Yorke actually does get on my nerves but The Bends is very great as is OK Computer, really like Kid A as well but don't listen to them very much. Might have to give them a spin.

RADIOHEAD ROCKS!

OK Computer is a modern masterpiece- definately my favorite CD by them. Next is Kid A in my book. Radiohead is one of my favorite live acts as well. Just brilliant live.

I know there's a good number of fans here. All I can think is that with the long wait since the last album, people are just talkin about other things.

PS- as with any good band, Radiohead has there share of 'haters' as well. So prepare yourself smile

Yeah, it is great.
I didn't listen to Hail To The Thief a whole lot when I first got it, but whenever I pull it out now, it kicks my tail. "I Will" is beautiful too.

Kid A blew me away when I first heard it and it gets better each year that passes by. Dare I say it, Amnesiac has grown on me tremendously as well. My favorite track off their last album was Scatterbrain, it reminds me of something from the mid 80's a bit.

I really enjoy Radiohead, though Ive havent listened to them much lately. I'm a bit burned out on The Bends and OK Computer because I've played them to death.

I think right now Radiohead are going through the "Purple Rain" syndrome.

Like how Prince released Purple Rain in '84 and everyone loved it, but then he went in extremely different directions afterwards and all his other 80's albums got mixed reviews til years later when ppl now pretty much love all of them.

Radiohead's albums since OK Computer have gotten less enthusiastic, somewhat mixed reviews (and they've gone in really different directions), but I think that many years from now ppl will consider just about all their albums brilliant.

They are brilliant. I just wonder if sometimes they try too hard not to be pop.

Maybe I just don't have the patience anymore, but I tend to skip a lot of their tracks. But when they're on, they're the best rock band out there.

i'm a huge fan. sometimes i get lost on their website early mornings
just enjoying everything on there. the art, the words, the weirdness
and the fear lol.

as far as their music goes, i love everything from "The Bend" up to
the unique masterpieces that are "Kid A/Amnesiac" and all the bsides
and spin offs that came from those sessions. All in all it makes for
about 3 discs worth of mindblowing fogmusic.

it's the soundtrack to an underground life. one where you make all
your own rules and live with a clear conscience.

i'm so in love with this band i can't even put it to words biggrin
and true love lives on lollipops and crisps
