of MC, against every naysayer of Mariah like, 'Mariah is a has-been, (sorry

the 'early' Mariah who was derided as a poor man's version of Michael Bolton?)

As for your releasing an album every year comment, having just checked her discography I would say she releases a new studio album around every two years. Put this against Madonna - 10 original studio albums in just over 20 years (plus many songs for numerous film soundtracks, many films and 5 world tours), I would say Madonnas work rate matches if not exceeds Mariahs.

You can throw sales figures around all day, i can guarentee there will be only one artist still talked about in 50 years and Im guessing it aint Mariah.

You can have a broad range of taste that doesn't include Mariah and still have an opinion about her. I don't think it's about being qualified. Pop divas are about the lowest common denominator. Everyone knows them. Everyone gets it. They lay it all out there. There's nothing to figure out. It's all pretty obvious...either you like it or you don't.

Just because you don't like it (fair enough!) doesn't amke it the lowest common denominator. why do some people think they're musical taste equates to their intelligence.

No ok maybe I take that back, but as someone who does own Kylies albums and have listened to them in full length like a normal person who actually listenes to music and doesnt just skip from track to track (as Jay Z once said) I don't feel Kylie has the athorataah over Mariah at all. Kylie couldnt handle songs like "Your Girl" "I Didnt Mean To Turn You On" "Fantasy" "Circles" "Joyride" "Breakdown" the list goes on and on.

I just felt a person whom normally listens to R&B music should and would be better suited to judge an R&B record.

I dont know, Im tired as hell and if I made ya mad hey...what more can say
