I thought the same thing. The song is cool, but the video is strange.

It wouldn't be Beck if the video wasn't at least different.

the drums/beat reminds me of Bjork's "Army of Me" for some reason.
maybe I'm insane but they sound very much alike to me.

there, the manditory negative remark aside wink I think it's a cool
song and a nice video.

this is gonna be perhaps the 2nd 2005 album I will buy

I wonder what the rest of the songs are gonna be like
I couldn't really get into his last record but Midnight Vultures
is a classic!

His last record (Sea Change) was very heart-wrenching and depressing at times. He wrote the songs right after a break-up with a long time girlfriend. It was hard to listen to, but it had some great moments. I recently read that he's now married, so I'm sure he's happier these days. He's no longer suffering from a broken heart.

Marianne Faithfull's "Before The Poison", but I've just noticed
that it was released late 2004. I just got it early 2005 so the
Beck album will probably be the very first 2005 album I will be
buying. Unless I change my mind about the tori amos album and
buy it in stores (I have a cd rip and don't like it too much).
