Paraphrasing what i read

Some guy who was supposed to work with Jermaine on his album started working with MJ and Jermaine got so fucking pissed so he whipped up this tune with lyrics against MJ's skin color. MJ cried and Katherine Jackson intervened and told them both to behave themselves like a good mom

[intro]
What up yo, word to the badd (7 times)

Reconstructed
Been abducted
Don't know who you are
Think they love you
They don't know you
Lonely superstar
You never think about who you love
You only think about number one
You forget about where you started from
You only care about what you want
Don't care about how it's done
You only think about you, your throne
Be it right or be it wrong

It ain't about your world
It ain't about the things you do
If you don't care, I don't care
'Cause you keep thinkin' 'bout you
It ain't about you takin' my pie
You been takin' for a long time
If you don't care, I don't care
If you keep
Well I ain't thinkin' 'bout you

What up you, word to the badd (3 times)

Once you were made
You changed your shade
Was your color wrong
Could not turn back
It's a known fact
You were too far gone
You know I try to be there for you
Like a brother I care for you
It didn't matter you always play me off
You only care about what you want
And you don't care about how it's done
You only think about you, your throne
Be it right or be it wrong

It ain't about your world
It ain't about the things you do
If you don't care, I don't care
'Cause you keep thinkin' 'bout you
It ain't about you takin' my pie
You been takin' for a long time
If you don't care, I don't care
If you keep

It ain't about your world
It ain't about the things you do
If you don't care, I don't care
'Cause you keep thinkin' 'bout you
It ain't about you takin' my pie
You been takin' for a long time
If you don't care, I don't care
If you keep
Well I ain't thinkin' 'bout you

No no no, I ain't thinkin' 'bout you
No no
What up yo, word to the badd (3 times)

Thinkin' about the pie that you've been takin' from me
From a brother to another brother, hard to believe
Lost and don't know it, yet you still show it
Givin' seems to be harder than it is to receive
The glass has gotten shady, time to make it clearer
Clean it up and let's start with the man in the mirror
It's sad Mr. Badd, ain't no mistakin' it
Get a grip, you're not far from breakin' it

Thinkin' about the time when we used to be close
It shouldn't be a past tense 'cause nobody knows
What the future may hold, what tomorrow might bring
It's not guaranteed that you'll be spreadin' a wing
But meanwhile, I'll continue to smile
'Cause in the back of my head I know You're still a child
Consider you a man well that may never be
Unless the day comes when you'll have to lean on me !

Gone too far
Ya better turn back
I know who you are
You know where I'm at
Sad but it's true
From me to you
Pick up the phone
Don't be alone
Step off the throne
Come back home

It ain't about your world
It ain't about the things you do
If you don't care, I don't care
'Cause you keep thinkin' 'bout you
It ain't about you takin' my pie
You been takin' for a long time
If you don't care, I don't care
If you keep

It ain't about your world
It ain't about the things you do
If you don't care, I don't care
'Cause you keep thinkin' 'bout you
It ain't about you takin' my pie

If you don't care, I don't care
If you keep
Well I ain't thinkin' 'bout you

I think that Jermaine was the first to say what everybody think right now of Michael JAckson...
He's not anymore in OUR world...Definitely .

I think that it would be very difficult to see his brother going down like that...

Jermaine has the right to do that because he's his old brother and he knows him better than us....

And who can forget this classic by Latoya?

He's My Brother
mmm, mmm
Owwww!
Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Yeah!
Uh Uh, He's not bad!

You may say he's electric
I will admit that he's quite different
You may say he does crazy things (Oh Oh Oh)
He works hard for the money that he brings

Bad and Thriller, he's still the Man in The Mirror
'Cause he's good to ME! and I know...
and I know
yes i know that he loves me so

'Cause he is my brother
Whenever he has to he's heavy
'Cause he is my brother (He's my brother)

He gives me emotion in plenty
When I'm alone...
...and I need him

He's with me like lightning
'Cause he is my brother
and I love
and I love yes i love him so

He-He-He's not bad!
(He's not bad!)
Oww

Out on stage he's electric
When he dances it's just like magic
And you know when he starts to sing (Oh Oh Oh)
He is reaching the world with his music

Bad and Thriller, he's still the Man in The Mirror
'Cause he's good to ME!
and I know (and I know)
and I know 'cause he loves me so

'Cause he is my brother (He's my Brother)
Whenever he has to he's heavy
'Cause he is my brother (Oh Yeah)

He gives me emotion in plenty
When I'm alone...
...and I need him

He's with me like lightning
'Cause he is my brother
and I love (and I love)
and I love yes i love him so

He's not bad!
(He-He-He's not bad!)
Oww~!

'Cause he is my brother (He's my Brother)

'Cause he is my brother

and I love yes i love him so

'Cause he is my brother (Oh yeah!)
Whenever he has to he's heavy
'Cause he is my brother (He's my Brother)
He gives me emotion in plenty (?)
When.....

Is that the one where vanilla ice says the "what up yo, word to the badd" line?

damn. what a horrible way to start a song. If you're gonna fling doody at your family members at least make it catchy. disbelief

Jermaine was pissed off, that was a soft spot mj had
MJ told his doctor to undergo depigmentation...
From what i heard it upset Jermaine because he thought he was losing his "Blackness"
MJ always had Islamic Tendencies... and was very um... Black Power...

He's Apologized about it, and has said that He does have vitiligo at the Jacksons family value talk back in 93

It got leaked to radio. I remember it. I was only about 5 but it was around the same time as "black or white". What a surprise.....

Anyway I don't have the bootleg but I knew someone who did. The album version still has the same chorus and the same rap. Except "from a lover to a lover hard to beleive" as ooposed to "brother to a brother" and some minor parts of the rap are changed.

Some of the original lyrics on the verses survived too.....I guess Lisa left eye Lopez re-wrote a few words on the rap as she could not of written the original rap surely? Also babyface gets a co-writer note. I guess he re-arranged the lyris on the verses.....

I liked jermaines rapping on that track. Plus even the 2nd version is a great mechanical newjack track. Of course i prefer the original lyrics.....

Apparantly Michael was in tears, who could blame him. But also who could blame jermaine? Though it was obvious that Jermaine was jelous and infact has been i imaigne ever since Michael took over as lead singer in the jackson 5. Jermaine was the original lead singer to Katherine said to Joe that Mike had the better voice.

It always seemed that joe favoured Jermaine more whilst Katherine favoured Michael.

That latoya track is hilairious.....

I never believed he had vitiligo for one second.

What does he have then...

my Fathers a doctor... i assure you its impossible to bleach your skin permanently I've asked many doctors and plastic surgeons about this
The only thing that exist to remove skin coloration is Hyperpigmentation removal.. which is specifically for people who suffer from constant sun burns, Hormone changes etc... or Rabid Hydroquinne Users such as Lil Kim
but their is no way to turn your skin from midnight black to virgin white permanently

please don't be these ignorant people that believe in skin bleaching lol

fair enough u hate the track. It is very formuliac squeaky sounding nonsense I guess. But I like it. Infact whole album it came from had some great tracks. I got the video to "i dream, I dream" and the title track "you said, you said".....both great songs.

If someone big at the time like Bobby Brown had released "you said you said"as a single it woulda hit big. Plus it, 4 obvious reasons, sounds very much like Pebbles "giving u the benefit", but I prefer "you said. you said".....

Nah its not really that, it was just poorly written...

i mean this brought jermaine real down as an artist

but hey its not worst than DYNAMITE!
Does anybody remember that video? It was like Jerimaine In Prison, very campy...

Looked like a Drugged out version of Mj's TDCAU Prison version..

According to Jermaine's ex wife, Mike came to Hayvenhurst shouting and ready to kick Jermaine's ass after he heard it. Then they had a meeting and Michael was saying "How could you do this to me? I'm your brother", and Jermaine just stood by it saying he couldn't get in touch with Mike and that he was mad.

Depigmentation is not a myth, and it's an accepted option for treating vitiligo, though usually only as a last resort. Here are a few references:

Why was Jermaine angry at Michael?

Cause he didn't stay on after the victory tour? --- Didn't Jermaine leave the Jacksons for his solo career. hazel, motown and bg 10 years before.

Was he mad cause mike didn't do 2300 Jackson Street?--- At least he sung on one song? How many Epic Jacksons albums pre-victory did jermaine sing on?

Was he mad cause mike didn't want to perform his songs (tell me i'm not, do what you do) on the victory tour? They did

Why is there always speculation about Jermaine reunting? motown 25, victory tour, 30th anniv concert...why can't he show up and play.

Is Jermaine mad the the victory album is the worst jacksons album?

Is he mad Dynamite / J.Jackson didn't do better (good album though)

Lets get serious Jermaine! I love you, but you always had a chip on your shoulder and a bug up your ass about michael being better than you.

Mike does have vitiligo, but he didn't have to lighten, he woulda looked better blotchy.....stupid bitch..

my Fathers a doctor... i assure you its impossible to bleach your skin permanently...please don't be these ignorant people that believe in skin bleaching lol
its a myth

Depigmentation is not a myth, and it's an accepted option for treating vitiligo, though usually only as a last resort. Here are a few references:

http://www.niams.nih.gov/...ligo.htm#7
(scroll down to the "Depigmentation" section: "...Depigmentation is permanent and cannot be reversed.")

http://www.aadassociation...iligo.html
(scroll way down; "..Depigmentation is permanent and irreversible...Although patients on occasion do regain some areas of color and repigmentation, this is not to be expected.")

http://www.nvfi.org/depig.htm
(Lengthy description of the process)

http://www.aocd.org/skin/...iligo.html
(next to last paragraph)

I did not say Depigmentation

I said Skin Bleaching...

Two Totally Different things

Depigmentation is speeding up the process of Vitiligo, by removing the melanin in your skin...

Skin Bleaching is the lightening of the skin, by using substances such as Hydroquinne, which Lightens The skin to a certain extent, for a certain amount of period,
than your skin recovers

Permanent Skin Bleaching is IMPOSSIBLE!
a normal person cannot undergo Depigmentation, the procedure would simply not work

Anyone else find this a little hard to believe? MJ trying to kick somebody's ass? Especially circa Dangerous when he looked like he hadn't eaten a sandwich in 18 days? falloff
