TLC's music and style

I pulled out all the old TLC records today. Some great stuff. I always thouht T-Boz sounded like a female Dez Dickerson. I love that voice. The mix of the 3 of them was so cool and original. I'm making a TLC greatest hits today-

Aint 2Proud 2 Beg
Hat2 Da Back
What About Your Friends
Baby-Baby-Baby
Creep
Kick Your Game
Diggin' On You
Case of the Fake People
Red Light Special
Waterfalls
If I Was Your Girlfriend
GetIt Up
No Scrubs
Unpretty
I Miss You So Much

PURPLECLEEN

I get really sad when something like this happens. The loss of Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes will be felt throughout the R&B community...as well as anyone else who appreciated their music...such as Prince, you know they were one of his favs..remember when the awards show wanted him to sing 1999, and he declined in order to have the "girls"(TLC)have their time in the sun...that of course after stating that they were one of his favorite groups.....Goodbye Left Eye We will all miss you. But like the title of a song on your solo project....with you gone, "Another Star is Born"...Supernova 2002.....

Today, I watched my tape of one of their concerts from the "Fanmail" tour a couple of years ago. Brought back memories from when I attended a show. Lisa looked so cute dancing to Housequake. I still can't believe she's gone. sad

Hat2 Da Back

That's my favorite song from their debut album. I never heard all the songs from their last two albums, but their music got a little too slick for me (and I really didn't care for their released singles), so I never bothered to buy them. It's the same problem I had with Salt & Pepa after their first few albums. They got to be less edgy and more slick.
This post not for the wimp contingent. All whiny wusses avert your eyes.
