Rhonda Smith and the Mississippi mass Choir ?

I was strummng through AMG (all misic guide) website. I was looking for a more in-depth Bio of Rhonda Smith. It showed that she was a vocalist in 1987, in the Mississippi Mass Choir. Can anyone of you so called Orgers shed some light on how Prince hooked up with her? I know she is fine, but besides that.

Both Rhonda and Kat Dyson were introduced to Prince by Sheila E. Granted I am not sure how Rhonda and Kat hooked up with Sheila so this leads to more questions.
