Question about a song on "Ray"

There is a part on Ray where he notices one of his singers are drunk and she is singing off key. He damands her to get out and she's acting all crazy, then tells the rest of them to leave....he later asked his engineer to get him an "Ol Jhonny Girl"
Next he starts singing the female parts himself!! I was kinda amazed by that.

What song were they recording and is it on the soundtrack? My boss is supposed 2 let me have it later on

The song is I Believe to My soul, and yes indeed Ray did record the vocal harmony parts by himself
