1. Prince Musicology

2. Brian Wilson Smile

3. Killers Hot Fuss

Surprise album of the Year for me was Darren Hayes The Tension and The Spark. Someone played it at work and I really liked it. I didn't have much time for Savage Garden.

Also Amp Fidler Deserves a mention and I've got high hopes for Gwen Stefani's album,

1 - Van Lear Rose - Loretta Lynn. I love it more every time I listen to it
2 - Talkie Walkie - Air. Almost as great as their first full-length album
3 - Girl Called Eddy - Girl Called Eddy. Nice voice, with smooth classic pop delivery.

It is november now, and all great releaes have taken place yet... All there is left are some lousy Greatest hits albums... So this is a good time to ask you your top 3 of 2004 albums???

Mine are (in random order);
Rammstein - Reise Reise

Duran Duran - Astronaut

Prince - Musicology

I second the Duran Duran ,Astronaut ... I think NICE will be a big Club Mix

The Killers album

George Michael Paitence Sucked a royal walrus nut
- same ole crap ...george trying to be clever and coy about his life. YAWN .. get over it dude. YOUR 40 if you haven't resolved things and gained closure by now, give it up, WE DON"T CARE!!!! ( i would have to say i do like his voice.. not his lyrics )

He's Opras B!tch

I would say that Scissor Sisters ROX

I got the new Prince album and it lacked everything i thought he was good at ...

I think 2004 is a better year for music than people are willing to admit. We had great albums from Wilco, Modest Mouse, Interpol, REM, Prince, Franz Ferdinand, etc. The Talking Heads finally released The Name of This Band is Talking Heads on CD. Best of all, there's a new U2 cd coming out in a week.

1. Loretta Lynn, "Van Lear Rose"
2. Prince, "Musicology"
3. Elton John, "Peachtree Road"

although, i haven't gotten Rufus Wainwright's "Want Two" or U2's "How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb" yet, so this is probably tentative.
